Taurus of the Forest

According to the Chinese zodiac, you are a “Tree.”

In Western astrology, you are a Taurus.

A Taurus is a mythical creature, somewhat like an ox.

Beneath your smart, sophisticated outer appearance, you seem to have an inner stubbornness that is hard to see at first.

A Taurus walking slowly through a mystical forest with a hint of sunlight peeking through the trees is the image that describes you.

There is a path that leads far into the distance, and the Taurus is walking toward it, step by step. This mythical figure is comparable to your own interest in classic, old-fashioned or vintage things; whether it is your hobbies, your way of thinking, or your fashion.

By absorbing old traditions and traditional ways of thinking, or by wearing vintage items, you can connect yourself to the history that your predecessors have built. Deep down, you seem to have an intuition that this is the right way for people to live in the modern world. You have a calm, beautiful air about you.

If you’ve been doing astrology for a while, then you already knew that in Western astrology you are classified as a Taurus (or, to be more precise, your sun sign is Taurus). Taurus is characterized by a calm, collected style and way of thinking. Although the Taurus  is generally thought of as a fearsome animal, it is not easily provoked. They are the type to be patient in their approach to things.

On the other hand, in the oriental divination system (Four Pillars of Destiny) you are represented by the Chinese character for “tree” (or more accurately, by the Chinese character for “甲”). This image represents a will to grow straight toward your goal. It is your fate to progress straight towards your goal without looking back or being distracted.

Western astrology and the Four Pillars of Destiny are two different types of divination. However, they are the same in that they both determine your destiny based on your birthday. The laws of the two worlds, East and West, each determine the destiny that presides at the moment of your birth.

In other words, you, a human being with a complicated destiny, are interpreted from the standpoint of both the East and the West. Therefore, we cannot say that one of them is correct and the other incorrect, but rather they should be interpreted in a three-dimensional way in which both interpretations complement each other.

If we take your Taurus characteristics and your nature as a tree, we can interpret them together to describe you as the “Taurus of the Forest”.

As We explained at the beginning of this article, we are able to see the image of a Taurus  moving slowly through a mystical forest.

Like the Taurus, you are moving slowly and cautiously through life, checking your footing, making step by step progress toward your goal. However, there is little hesitation in your actions, and you move forward unhurriedly with a quiet confidence.
