SOLARITA TYPE

Taurus of the Ocean

According to the Chinese zodiac, you are a “Ocean.”

In Western astrology, you are a Taurus.

A Taurus is a mythical creature, somewhat like an ox.

Your life is a journey to find a place where you feel comfortable.

The word “comfortable” has many meanings, but perhaps “fitting in” is a better description of what you search for. For you, this is not a struggle, but rather a journey full of fun.

In order to make a living, you have to accept things that you don’t agree with. You may start to feel that your foundation is shaky – as if the ground you stand on is going to fall.  When this happens, you may  embark on a long journey of searching again.

It is your unique and innate talent to be able to transform such hardships into enjoyment. Your life is a journey to find the place where you belong – where you fit in. This journey is the mission you have been assigned in life.

If you’ve been doing astrology for a while, you already know that in Western astrology, you are classified as a Taurus (or to be more precise, your Sun sign is Taurus). Taurus is characterized by a calm and collected appearance and way of thinking. Although the Taurus as a creature is generally associated with a frightening image, in reality it is not an animal that is easily provoked. It is the type to do things methodically.

On the other hand, in the oriental divination system (the Four Pillars of Destiny) you are represented by the Chinese character for “Ocean” (or more accurately, by the Chinese character for “壬”). This is a quality that allows you to be as flexible as the water in the ocean and adapt to any constraint or environment. It also means that you are good at dealing with people and information, and are sensitive to trends. You quite literally have the gift of going with the flow.

Western astrology and the Four Pillars of Destiny are two different divination systems. However, they are the same in that they both use your birthday to determine your destiny. The laws of the two worlds, East and West, each determine the fate that presides at the moment of your birth.

In other words, you, a human being with a complicated destiny, are interpreted from the standpoint of the East and the West. This does not mean that one of these interpretations is correct and the other incorrect. Rather, this means that both should be interpreted in a three-dimensional, complementary way.

Here we will analyze your Taurus characteristics and your nature as the ocean in conjunction with one another. When interpreted together, you can be described as a “Taurus of the Ocean”.

Picture this strange image of a herd of Tauruses slowly crossing a vast ocean. The surface of the ocean is glistening beautifully with the light of the sun. This is the journey of the Tauruses – constantly and slowly moving forward in search of a more comfortable and sensual world. Your life can be represented by this journey.

You have a very large capacity for people, which is perceived as generosity by the people around you.

You are destined to have a lot of people, money, and information coming your way. By handling them well, you will be able to seamlessly incorporate them into your surroundings without rejecting those who are drawn to you.

However, you don’t have to become attached to every person who crosses your path. Think of yourself as the constant around which people, money and information is circling all while maintaining a certain distance.
