Earth Gemini

According to the Chinese zodiac, you are “Earth.”

In Western astrology, you are a Gemini.

You are a busy person. It’s not that you are busy at work, but rather that you, yourself are busy. You are the type of person whose interests change rapidly. In reality, you are the type of person who is interested in everything you see and hear. You have a childlike curiosity and can’t help but pick up new things when you see them. This personality appears in all aspects of your life, including work, love, hobbies, and play. This is not just your personality, but rather it is your destiny.

Wherever this busyness leads you is the purpose of your life.

Have you ever wondered why you are so distracted by so many things, or why you can’t focus on one thing?  It is your destiny to be scattered and busy, but you must want to know the reason for that destiny.  To answer your question, think about all that you can accomplish by being this way. Your task in life is to use your busyness to create something and nurture it.

This could be anything. For example, it could be growing a plant from a seed, raising an animal, or having a child. It could also be the process of creating and bringing to life an idea, or planning and selling a new product at work. The same goes for creating art, such as music or painting. To sum it up, you are born with a busy mind, but this is a necessary quality in order for you to successfully create and nurture something. This is the plot of your destiny.

If you’ve done any astrology in the past, then you already know that in Western astrology, you are classified as a Gemini (or, to be more precise, your Sun sign is Gemini). Geminis are very social and have excellent communication skills. They also have a curious mind that jumps from thought to thought, sometimes even moving a bit too fast.

On the other hand, in the Oriental divination system (the Four Pillars of Destiny) you are represented by “Earth” (or more accurately, by the Chinese character for “己”). Imagine an explanseless field as far as the eye can see, a mild climate and farmers dutifully at work.  This idyllic image representing the wealth of crops produced by fertile soil also represents your mission in life to create and nurture.

Western astrology and the Four Pillars of Destiny are two different types of divination. However, they are the same in that they both use your birthday to determine your destiny. The laws of the two worlds, East and West, each determine the destiny that presides at the moment of your birth.

In other words, you, a human being with a complicated destiny, are interpreted from the standpoint of both the East and the West. This does not mean that one of these interpretations is correct and the other incorrect. Rather, this means that both should be interpreted in a three-dimensional, complementary way.
