Crab of the Earth

According to the Chinese zodiac, you are the “Earth.”

If you’ve done any astrology in the past, then you already know that in Western astrology, you are classified as a Cancer (or, to be more precise, your Sun sign is Cancer). Cancers are characterised as highly sensitive and loving people. They don’t like things to change too much, and they deeply cherish their memories.

On the other hand, in the Eastern divination system (the Four Pillars of Destiny) you are represented by the word “Earth” (or more accurately, by the Chinese character for “己”). Imagine an explanseless field as far as the eye can see, a mild climate and farmers dutifully at work.  This idyllic image representing the wealth of crops produced by fertile soil also represents your mission in life to create and nurture.

Western astrology and the Four Pillars of Destiny are two different types of divination. However, they are the same in that they both use your birthday to determine your destiny. The laws of the two worlds, East and West, each determine the destiny that presides at the moment of your birth.
