Crab of the Earth
According to the Chinese zodiac, you are the “Earth.”
In Western Astrology, you are a Cancer.
You have a calm personality and your life has an inherently peaceful flow to it.
You don’t think too deeply, and the more intuitive you are in your life, the happier you will be.
You do best with a firmly grounded way of life and tend to value daily routines and rules. This is important to you, but if you live too routinely, you may lose another important quality of yours: the ability to love.
Here, I am speaking of love of neighbor, love of community, love of family, and love of humanity – not just romantic love.
Be careful not to lose your ability to love by being too pragmatic. If you cherish your love for people and cherish the events that come your way in life, your destiny will make it so that everything falls into place where it belongs.
Reality and love are two necessary elements for you. The first thing you need to know is that you have a mission to create something new.
This could mean giving birth to a child, creating a new product, making a new work of art, or coming up with a new idea. Whatever it is, you are destined to create something and nurture it. At the root of creating and nurturing is love, and it is your destiny to work with that love in a practical way. This is your mission.
If you’ve done any astrology in the past, then you already know that in Western astrology, you are classified as a Cancer (or, to be more precise, your Sun sign is Cancer). Cancers are characterised as highly sensitive and loving people. They don’t like things to change too much, and they deeply cherish their memories.
On the other hand, in the Eastern divination system (the Four Pillars of Destiny) you are represented by the word “Earth” (or more accurately, by the Chinese character for “己”). Imagine an explanseless field as far as the eye can see, a mild climate and farmers dutifully at work. This idyllic image representing the wealth of crops produced by fertile soil also represents your mission in life to create and nurture.
Western astrology and the Four Pillars of Destiny are two different types of divination. However, they are the same in that they both use your birthday to determine your destiny. The laws of the two worlds, East and West, each determine the destiny that presides at the moment of your birth.
This means that you, a human being with a complex destiny, are interpreted from the standpoint of both the East and the West. This does not mean that one of these interpretations is correct and the other incorrect. Rather, this means that both should be interpreted in a three-dimensional, complementary way.
Here, we will analyze your Cancer traits and your nature as an earth sign. When interpreted together, you can be described as a “Crab of the Earth”.
