DESTINY

To you Scorpio, what transformations will Pluto bring about over 16 years? (2008 – 2024)

Pluto is a very slow moving planet. It floats farther than any other planet in our solar system, and it takes 248 years for it to circle the twelve signs of the zodiac. This means that it stays in one constellation for 12 to 32 years.

Pluto is currently in Capricorn. It moved into Capricorn in 2008 and will stay there until 2024. Staying in one sign for such a long period of time means that it will have a long lasting effect on our destiny. So, how does Pluto affect you and what does it do to affect you as a Scorpio?

Here’s how.

  1. The Role of Pluto
  2. Pluto’s “Transformation” for Scorpio

(1)The Role of Pluto

Pluto is the planet of transformation, working in the deepest places of the world to bring everything to a whole new level. “When we think of transformation, we think of Uranus, but if Uranus brings about a simple transformation on the surface, Pluto brings about a transformation on the underside, or rather, from the bottom up. While “change” has a revolutionary buzz to it, “transformation” is accompanied by a sense of wonder that something is fundamentally changing. This may be similar to the feeling you get at a moment’s notice that something you used to love so much, something you used to be obsessed with, seems unimportant. It’s as if you suddenly realize that your existence is slowly and fundamentally changing, and that you have acquired a different set of values than before. I mentioned that Uranus brings about changes on the surface, but Pluto seems to bring about transformations in the values, thoughts, and feelings that underpin the surface.

The keywords “death and rebirth” are necessary to bring about this kind of transformation. For example, just as a beautiful butterfly is born after molting from a pupa, or a phoenix that jumps into the fire to die and then rises again, Pluto has the role of creating something new by ending something.

The word “death” is to be understood only as a symbol, and it can be taken as an image of “end,” “destruction,” or “loss. Pluto also teaches us that in order to start something, we need to finish it. However, this doesn’t seem to mean that you have to force yourself to finish something. It’s more likely to be something that you’ve finished naturally without realizing it, or something that you’ve finished as you’ve been struggling with a specific problem or issue in your work, life, or love life.

(2)Pluto’s “Transformation” for Scorpio

The transformation that Pluto will bring to you, as a Scorpio, in the 16 years from 2008, will be around the concepts of “communication” and “language”. This is a period of slow transformation in the way you relate to, and interact with people.
