Saturn is the planet that brings challenges. It has the role of bringing life challenges that the person must overcome. In other words, Saturn is a planet that promotes growth. It puts people on the path to significant growth by putting them through trials and challenges.

Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7, 2023. Saturn will then remain in Pisces for about two years and three months, until May 24, 2025, encouraging each person to create a “foundation” for their life.

This “foundation” is not an easy thing to achieve. It is similar to how a beautiful Japanese sword is created only after the steel is melted at high heat and beaten with a hammer. You cannot get this “foundation” without going through some kind of ordeal. To create a powerful and beautiful life, one must have the experience of facing difficulties and constantly overcoming oneself.

Growth is a never-ending cycle. It is about building a higher foundation from the foundations laid in the past. Only when we have a foundation that has been achieved through hardship can we see broader dreams and higher goals. In this sense, Saturn is a planet that links the past and the future.

What was painful in the past is connected in a straight line to the challenges we must face in the present and the future. What you have struggled through in the past will create the path you will take from now on. The experiences that make you ask, “Why do I have to suffer so much?” are not a waste of time. They will lead you into the future. Saturn is the planet that connects your struggles to the future. In the two and a half years from the end of 2020 to March 2023, you have come to know your “foundation,” as explained in detail in the second half of chapter (2). It is an experience you are having, even if you are unaware of it. And it is likely to be a foundational event lasting for about 30 years. However, this “awareness” can be abstract because it is the foundation for a long life. The shorter the period, the more specific the goal or wish, but if it is a wish that will take a decade or two, for example, it will be abstract, such as “to live in a direction where I can make the most of my abilities.” You are to practice the “important things” that you have grasped in the abstract over the course of your life in the two and a half years until March 2023.

The first step in this process is two years and three months from March 7, 2023.

From March 7, 2023, until the end of May 2025, Saturn gives you challenges to practice a tangible way of living on the “foundation” of your life that you have found, and to face money head-on.
